This was a challenge. I'll just say it simply. If you've seen it full view at all its sketchy glory, you can imagine how dead my pens are. >> It's 18"-24" so it's quite a load in itself just for its size.

But I am beyond happy with how this turned out. This is Hikaru Shidou from CLAMP's Magic Knight Rayearth and thus, one of my favorite all time characters from my childhood and even now. First off, she's adorable--look at that smile and hair? She's precious! And her fiery spirit and love for others is absolutely endearing.

Ahem, in any case, I hoped to capture a bit of her innocent but determined and unrelenting personality in her figure and expression. You'll have to tell me how I did.
